Description

If  lag brushes are the simplest industrial brush solution, strip brushes bring together simplicity, effectiveness and economy.

The strip brush was originally developed for filling the gaps around doors to keep out drafts, dust, and pests.  It  had to be a product that was easy to install, of simple design, and above all, low in cost, so a continuous fibre (without tufts) strip brush was chosen.

Now, we have standardized a wide range of measurements, both in aluminium holders, and in thickness and length of fibre.  Of course we can adapt any of our models if your requirements are not met by our made-to-measure range.

What was once thought of as a draught excluder has become applied to many industrial processes.

As their installation is not complex and does not require machinery, this type  of industrial brush can be used for:

  • Blackout and closing cracks in doors and gates
  • Escalators
  • Woodwork and metalwork (blackout, wiring)
  • Cleaning conveyor belts (mesh and metal strips, rubber, textiles, polyethylene...)
  • Skirts
  • Protectors (tools, splash, hands...)
  • Aspiration of sawdust
  • Dispensers
  • Levels
  • Braking and guidance of boxes
  • Flow bypass
  • Cleaning of screens and filters (purification)

Application of this type of industrial brush may be found in any sector.

For optimum industrial brush performance, it is imperative for us to have details of the conditions in which the brush will be used, such as:

  • Dimensions
  • Intended use
  • Working temperature
  • Humidity
  • Conductivity (static currents)
  • Type of abrasion
  • And lastly
  • Type of chemical product used

With the data you provide, and with our experience in the manufacture of industrial brushes, we will advise which materials are best suited for your requirements.  The more information you provide us with, the better the result.  Please contact us

We remind you that spent fibres can be recovered from many of the industrial brushes.

So before disposing of old brushes, speak to us about having them remade, which is always an economical solution
